The 4th of July is right around the corner! If you are planning on coming to Tahoe to celebrate there are plenty of activities to keep you busy! Below are a list of events for the 4th of July weekend:

Who says we can only celebrate our independence on one day? In Tahoe we celebrate it the July 3rd the 4th & the 5th!

July 3rd Celebration 
Where: Kings Beach / North Tahoe Beach Center
What: The North Tahoe Beach Center will host a beach party beginning at 2:00 PM with live music, food, vendors and more! The party will continue at 9:30 PM when the Tahoe sky lights up with fireworks.

July 4th Celebration 
Where: Commons Beach, Tahoe City
What: At 9:30 PM enjoy a dazzling Fireworks display like you have never seen!

Made in Tahoe Festival (July 4th, 5th & 6th)
Where: Squaw Valley Village
What: July 4th, 5th & 6th from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM join in celebrating Tahoe's local arts, culture and music. The festival includes a vendor village filled with local artisans, businesses and organizations.

Ready set SUMMER.....

It's SUMMER time in Tahoe!!

You know it is officially summertime in Tahoe when: 

1.) The blue jays wake you up in the morning. 

2.)You can walk out of your house at 8:00 AM wearing just a T-shirt. 

3.) There is construction on every single road in the Tahoe Basin! 

4.) The lake is crystal clear and as smooth as glass in the morning. 

5.) The smell of BBQ and Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen has become your new permanent cologne for the next 3 months.

Now that it is OFFICIALLY SUMMER in Tahoe there are so many things to keep you occupied! As long as you have your Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen (that's our favorite) you'll be set.

Here are some great events you don't want to miss, coming up every Thursday and Friday in North Tahoe and Truckee:

Starting June 13th Downtown Truckee presents: Truckee Thursdays! Every Thursday from 5-9 PM Downtown Truckee will close down the streets for an amazing street fair with a farmers market, live music, great shopping and happy hour specials! Like going to the gym, this should be apart of your weekly routine.

Adrift Tahoe and Watermans Landing are kicking off their North Shore Paddle Series every Friday! All human powered water crafts  (kayak, SUP, Outrigger Canoes, Prone etc.) and all ages are welcome! Check out the schedule and join in the fun. You'll see us there at every single race!!
